A note about the story of Re-Opera:
"Amazingly, I wrote this story and recorded this album in 1993! Take time (pause the video, or put it in slow mo, if you have to) to read the text crawl at the beginning - it is the plot synopsis that originally appeared at the front of a booklet that accompanied the original analog cassette release in 1993. It talks about a future I envisioned the protagonist waking up into in 2023. It is scary how many of the things I foresaw are already coming true or on track to be a reality by 2023. When I made this music video in 2016, I used the device of the Time magazine covers to not only show the passage of time (the covers are sequential), but also to show the parallels between the story and our actual reality. Let us hope things follow a different path, but be ready to fight the future."

A note about the recording:
The electronic sounds were accomplished with custom sounds created on a Yamaha DX100 FM synth. The recording unit was a Fostex analog tape multi-track. I always intended to make the album a musical film at some point.
